The story
The battles women fought before us were not simply about obtaining rights or securing equality; they were an assertion of presence in a world that continually sought to confine them to the shadows. These women, our mothers, our grandmothers, did not fight only for their own generation; they fought for the generations yet to come, for us, and for those who will follow. The fluidity of time binds us together—yesterday's struggles persist into tomorrow, as the past and future converge. We are interwoven into a fabric where time refuses to remain linear, and within this complexity, we must learn to grasp knowledge with all the faculties available to us. To see, to feel, to think beyond the constrictions of rationality. For reality is not a singular narrative—it is multiple, layered, textured with the experiences of those before us and those still to come.
The battles of the women who came before us were never truly won, for future generations will find themselves engaged in the same struggles, fighting in new arenas but with familiar weapons. Our role, as it has always been, is to make space for our voices, for our wisdom, for the embodiment of female experience. Thus, the Women Council emerges—not as a mere reaction but as a necessity, born in an era where beauty, meaning, and well-being are fractured, slipping through the cracks of a world obsessed with profit, power, and superficial success. We do not stand by idly as the remnants of what matters fall apart. The Women Council believes in confronting the world through encounter, for life, at its core, is a series of encounters that define us. We come to know ourselves through the relationships we nurture, and it is through these relationships that the essence of existence unfolds.
But our connections, our ability to care, to love, to nurture—these vital elements of life—are persistently undermined by the relentless dominance of monetary and transactional relationships. The market has become the governor of our existence, and in this world, human bonds are reduced to mere exchanges. Yet, we remember the fury of our grandmothers, their righteous indignation, their refusal to accept the world as it was handed to them. In their anger, we find our own awakening, and it is with this humble yet fierce anger that we now offer our guidance. We do not seek to overthrow existing systems of governance, for we recognize the futility of engaging with a machine that perpetuates itself. Instead, we move alongside it, parallel yet separate, providing an alternative path. We are committed to dialogue, to deliberation, to the slow, steady work of creating real solutions—solutions that are born from deep thinking, embodied awareness, academic rigor, and, most importantly, the wisdom of women who have lived, fought, and endured.
As Donna Haraway reminds us, "Our task is to make trouble, to stir up potent responses to devastating events, as well as to settle troubled waters and rebuild quiet places." In this world of ceaseless noise, we are called to both disrupt and restore, to bring forth the strength to challenge and the grace to heal. We are the continuation of those who came before us, and in us is the seed of what will be. We are the weavers of time, binding past, present, and future into a living tapestry. We are you. You are everything. Everything is all.
Ministry departments
In this council of women, we embrace a multifaceted mission, each aspect of which resonates deeply with the struggles and aspirations of our foremothers, the relentless quest for equality, justice, and meaningful existence. Our work is grounded not only in immediate needs but in the vision of an interconnected future—a world where the remnants of patriarchy are dismantled, and a new order is born, where human and non-human life coexists with care and dignity. Let us explore the core work of the Women Council through its ministry departments:
Ministry of Systems & Futures
A system is not simply a machine; it is a web of relationships, values, and power structures that extend beyond the material world. As futurists, we women dare to imagine systems that transcend the oppressive hierarchies of the present. We envision a future where structures are reformed by empathy and shared responsibility, not domination. The Women's Council, as guardians of this future, refuses to accept systems that limit potential or stifle voices. We design new systems—economic, political, and social—that integrate the complexity of life and make space for all beings to thrive. Our gaze is always forward, pulling the future into the present.
Ministry of Knowledge & Meaningfulness
Knowledge is not a passive acquisition but an active engagement with the world. We women are inheritors of a long tradition of intellectual resistance, of questioning the structures that define reality and limit our horizons. In this council, knowledge becomes a tool of liberation, a means of reclaiming narratives long suppressed. But knowledge must be coupled with meaningfulness—understanding not just for the sake of understanding, but to create lives that hold depth, purpose, and connection. We reject superficiality and meaningless consumption, instead weaving our knowledge into the fabric of a world where women can live authentically, where the search for meaning is a shared endeavor.
Ministry of Finance
The economy, in its current state, is a cold and alienating force, designed to prioritize profit over people, commodifying human lives and the natural world. We, the Women Council, see this clearly, and we refuse to be cogs in its machinery. Instead, we advocate for a new economy—one that values care work, emotional labor, and the sustenance of life itself. This is an economy of reciprocity, where resources are shared, and production is rooted in the cycles of nature rather than the demands of capitalism. We recognize that the economy must be reimagined, not as an extractive force but as a generative one, nourishing life rather than depleting it.
Ministry of Problem Solving
The world's problems are not isolated fragments; they are interconnected. To solve them requires the depth of female wisdom—pragmatic, intuitive, and holistic. The Women Council does not approach problem-solving with the linearity of traditional structures but with a circular, relational mindset. We address the root causes, understanding that environmental degradation, social inequality, and political unrest are symptoms of the same disease: the failure to value life. Our solutions emerge from our collective strength, drawing from the wisdom of the past and the dreams of the future, always rooted in the conviction that no problem is insurmountable when approached with solidarity, patience, and radical care.
Ministry of Biospheres & Kinships
The patriarchal mind sees nature as something to be mastered, an "other" to be exploited. But we, the Women Council, reject this vision. Our understanding of biospheres is founded on kinship, on recognizing our interdependence with all forms of life. We embrace the ecological web as an extension of our bodies, acknowledging that what happens to the earth happens to us. This kinship demands protection, nurturing, and stewardship. We work to restore balance to the natural world, not as a resource but as a living community in which we are embedded. In doing so, we reclaim our ancestral relationship with the earth, one built on reverence, care, and mutual sustenance.
Ministry of Culture
Culture is the soul of society, yet it has been distorted by patriarchal values, which celebrate power over wisdom, and spectacle over substance. In the Women Council, we set about reimagining culture itself—not as a means of domination or exclusion but as a space for creative expression, shared stories, and collective memory. We believe that culture is a battleground where ideologies are shaped, and we take up our place on this battleground with art, music, literature, and dialogue that reflect the full spectrum of women's experiences. We seek to create a culture that celebrates diversity, fosters empathy, and unites people in a shared quest for a life of purpose and joy.
Ministry of Urbanity & Connectivity
Cities are more than just collections of buildings—they are the stages on which human life plays out. Yet too often, urban spaces have been designed without regard for the lives of women, prioritizing speed, efficiency, and economic growth over the needs of those who live within them. The Women Council envisions urbanity that is humane and connective. Our cities must be places of encounter, where all can participate fully, where public spaces are safe and nurturing, where infrastructure supports community rather than isolation. Connectivity extends beyond the physical realm to the digital, where we foster networks of solidarity across borders, ensuring that no woman, no community, is left out of the conversation.
Ministry of Collective Health & Care
Health is not merely the absence of disease; it is the full flourishing of body, mind, and spirit. The Women Council asserts that collective health is foundational to any just society. We reimagine healthcare systems that prioritize well-being over profit, emphasizing preventive care, mental health, and the social determinants of health. But beyond formal systems, we recognize the importance of care in the everyday—caring for children, elders, communities, and the earth itself. The economy of care is the invisible scaffolding that holds society together, and we bring it into the light, ensuring that caregivers are honored and supported.
Ministry of Existentialism & Global Equality
We, as women, are no strangers to existential questions. Our very existence has often been a rebellion against forces that sought to silence us, diminish us, render us invisible. The Women Council embraces existentialism as a way of confronting the absurdities of life—the injustices, the inequalities, the limitations placed on women across the globe. We insist that global equality is not a distant dream but a lived philosophy. We recognize that our liberation is bound up with the liberation of women everywhere, and we reject all systems that deny women the right to define their own existence. We exist, therefore we resist.
Ministry of Time & Generational Travelers
Time is a fluid and shifting construct, moving between past, present, and future. The Women Council sees itself as a traveler through time, carrying the wisdom of our foremothers, addressing the crises of today, and planting the seeds for generations to come. We do not see history as a linear progression but as a cyclical flow, where lessons of the past inform the possibilities of the future. Our council is a bridge between the women who came before us and those who will follow, ensuring that the struggles and triumphs of our ancestors continue to shape the world that is yet to come.
Ministry of Planetary Boundaries
The earth's limits are not negotiable. Yet human systems have pushed these boundaries to the brink, jeopardizing the very foundations of life. The Women Council takes up the mantle of planetary stewardship, recognizing that our survival depends on living within the earth's ecological limits. We advocate for radical shifts in consumption, production, and governance, ensuring that we respect the delicate balance of the planet's systems. This is not merely an environmental issue; it is a matter of justice, for it is the most vulnerable who will bear the brunt of ecological collapse. We stand as protectors of the earth, knowing that the future depends on our actions today.
Ministry of Protectors of Children
Our children are our future, yet they inherit a world fraught with danger and inequality. The Women Council takes seriously its role as protector of the young, ensuring that they grow up in a world where they are safe, loved, and free to explore their potential. This protection extends beyond physical safety to emotional and intellectual freedom, ensuring that children are raised in environments that foster critical thinking, empathy, and creativity. We are the guardians of their future, and in protecting them, we safeguard the possibilities of a better world for all, a world in peace.
